The Story

I imagine. And I make.

The DESIGNER

Often, when people ask what I do, there's a pause before I answer — the honest version is fumbly and takes awhile. Stationery, event branding, fabrication, conceptual design... it's not a business that fits in one sentence. But lately I've found the version that actually says it: I imagine. And I make.

That's the whole thing, really. Every project starts as an idea — a feeling, a color palette, a story someone wants told — and my job is to give it form. Sometimes that's a wedding suite, letterpressed and foiled. Sometimes that’s a name badge, laser cut and engraved. And then sometimes it's a brand identity built out into a room full of people. The medium changes. The process doesn't.

I'm the designer and maker behind Render Creative Studio, a boutique event branding and fabrication studio based in Sonoma County, California. My background is in art, interior design, and special events — but the deeper education has come from the work: the clients and collaborators I've worked alongside year after year, who've trusted me with their weddings, their brands, their biggest days. Those relationships have taught me things no classroom could — how to listen for what someone actually wants, how to read a room, how to solve problems in real time when a material doesn't behave the way you planned. What's developed is a curated set of skills that allows me to create a truly custom and meaningful design and client experience.

The STUDIO

To render is to turn an idea into something real — to take what's abstract and give it form. That’s the idea behind Render Creative Studio, and the simplest way to describe what happens here: a favorite animal print rug becomes a blind-pressed, foil-stamped invitation. A logo and a philosophy become a physical landscape — dividing a space, guiding guests as they subconsciously walk through the foundation of a business.

Render is a verb, not just a name. This studio is defined by what gets imagined, conceptualized, and then made — design doesn’t stop at the screen. A strong idea has to hold up in the real world: in the weight of a paper stock, the texture of a material, the foundation of a platform.

We sit between creative studio and design fabrication partner. Every project starts as a concept and ends as something tangible — built by hand, made to be felt and not just seen.
